Commitment to Accessibility
We are proud to hold the French Tourisme et Handicap label for La Lodge. The ground floor is entirely step-free and accessed via a gentle ramp (rising 50cm over 3m). To ensure a comfortable stay for guests with sensory or cognitive needs, we feature high-contrast door frames and light switches, as well as large-button TV remotes.
Flexible Group Stays
For larger groups, an additional one-bedroom cottage is available on-site, allowing us to host up to 10 guests in total. During July and August, both properties are typically rented together, ensuring your party enjoys exclusive use of the entire grounds. As English-speaking owners living on-site, we are always available to offer a helping hand or local recommendations.

The heart of the home is a light-filled, open-plan living and dining area designed for comfort. The fully equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and a full range of modern appliances—including a microwave, coffee machine, and fridge-freezer. For our guests using wheelchairs, the kitchen offers convenient under-sink clearance (please note the hob is standard height).
Stay connected and comfortable with a dedicated workspace, high-speed WiFi, and full air conditioning and heating throughout.
Living Areas
Our home comfortably sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms (three doubles and one twin). For those with mobility needs, the ground floor features a step-free double bedroom and an accessible bathroom.
The downstairs bedroom is equipped with a 140cm bed that can be repositioned against the wall for extra floor space. Light switches and sockets are conveniently located along the wall for easy reach regardless of the room layout. The en-suite bathroom offers a spacious 151cm turning circle (compliant with the 150cm French accessibility standard), with slight encroachment from the sink and door handle. The bathroom includes under-sink wheelchair clearance, standard grab bars for the toilet and shower, and a static, height-adjustable shower chair.

Enjoy the summer sun from June through September (weather permitting), featuring in-pool steps and a shallow-end bench—perfect for relaxing. While we do not have hoist equipment on-site, the pool area is designed for ease of access.

Your private pergola provides a picturesque setting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, complete with a professional plancha grill for outdoor cooking. For a touch of indulgence, our conservatory houses a private jacuzzi overlooking the gardens, available for exclusive sessions by appointment.

Guests booking both La Lodge and Le Pigeonnier together enjoy entirely exclusive use of the pool and our expansive, tree-filled parkland. For individual rentals, these beautiful spaces are shared with our other guests, offering plenty of room to stroll, picnic, or simply unwind.
