Set on its own along with Kestrel and Merlin, Curlew Cottage is a contemporary, stone-built retreat offering a modern take on Northumbrian self-catering. Positioned just west of the original cottages at Beacon Hill, this sleek escape features three bedrooms and comfortably sleeps six.

Our on-site Spa is open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, 365 days a year. A spacious and stunning building, it is perfectly situated just a short, scenic stroll through the gardens from the Holiday Cottages, The Treehouse, or the Hideaways. Beacon Hill Farm itself boasts an incredible location, set against a breathtaking backdrop of rural Northumberland that stretches all the way toward the coast.

Woodland Adventures: Explore our 40-acre ancient beech wood, follow the magical Harry Potter Trail to win a prize, or gather around the fire pits for a Sausage Sizzle (pans and utensils provided!).

Sports & Games: Enjoy a match on our tennis court (with Pickleball markings), practice your aim at the cricket net, or play a round of Disc Golf. We also have a dedicated football pitch, a boules court, and a scenic croquet lawn.

Indoor Play: Rain or shine, the fun continues in our heated games room—equipped with table football, pool, air hockey, and table tennis—or the indoor adventure playground, a favorite for children aged 3 to 12.

Nature & Stargazing: Take a quiet moment at Meg’s Lake for wild swimming and paddleboarding, or visit our on-site observatory. With an electric sliding roof and a location on the edge of a Dark Sky area, it's the perfect spot to discover the stars.
