Opened in 2014, Amilla Maldives Resort is a 5-star luxury resort owned by Maldivians who aimed to create a lush private island paradise. In 2022, the resort was accessibility and inclusion certified by Inclucare, showing their commitment to breaking down barriers faced by people with additional needs when visiting the Maldives.
The resort's restaurants offer ground floor tables, ramps and outdoor seating, while many of the villas and residences have accessible features, although they are not specifically designed for guests with disabilities. With the exception of the Tree Top Villas, all villas are located on the ground floor and ramps can be added if needed.
For long stay guests, a complimentary welcome in-residence bar set up is provided on arrival, featuring snacks, soft drinks, beers, and selected alcoholic beverages. Guests can also enjoy complimentary non-alcoholic beverages in the in-residence mini-bar (replenished once a day) and a BBQ Beach Dinner once during their stay (excluding beverages).

Living Areas
Experience contemporary beach vibes in the elegant spaces of this accommodation. The ultra-comfortable beds with super-size pillows may tempt you to stay a little longer in the morning. The crisp quality linen adds to the luxury of the experience, and breakfast in bed is the perfect way to start your day.
The two Master Suites, spanning 110sqm each, offer breathtaking ocean views from the 2.3m long beds. A glass-fronted balcony terrace provides the ultimate spot to witness the stunning sunset. The sliding doors reveal a statement bathtub with ocean views, while the dressing area offers wardrobes, seating, and double basins. A hallway connects to the outdoor rain shower courtyard and indoor shower alcove.
The upper level Guest Suites, of which there are four almost identical ones, overlook the rear gardens. Two of these suites offer king-sized beds, and two have twin beds. Each suite has access to individual balconies, with statement bathtubs concealed behind decorative screens. Comfortable living spaces, dressing areas, indoor bathrooms, and walk-in rain showers complete these chic suites.
The two garden level Guest Suites are situated adjacent to the living area and have twin beds. Both of these suites come with en suite bathrooms featuring rain showers.
Bedrooms
The magnificent infinity-edge pools, measuring 11 meters by 5 meters (36 feet by 16 feet), offer an idyllic setting to bask in the sunshine while overlooking the beach and the vast ocean beyond. Two elevated sundecks, furnished with love seats, are located on either side of the pools. There are also clusters of sunbeds and other seating options scattered around the pools for guests to unwind and relax. Adjacent to the sandy courtyard garden, there are open-sided dining decks on both sides, each furnished with an eight-seater teak table.
For guests with special needs, mobile hoists are available around the pool, and buoyant beach chairs are also provided for added convenience. The activities available can be customized and tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of the guests.
